We’ve had a lot of success with the cigars produced by the Arturo Fuente family on Puff, Rotate & Review. Not only have we loved the ones in the past that we’ve had, but they’ve always attract a lot of attention … especially for the giveaway we conduct with each of our PR&R episodes.
How popular are they? When we reviewed the OpusX Shark in January, the related giveaway had the most entries ever for one of our sweepstakes. The discussion surrounding this stick was very spirited, too. We liked both elements, and we hope it continues with the other cigars we review at PR&R throughout the year.
So we’ve moved onto the Chateau Fuente KingB, a stick recommended to us by our good friend Granville Smith at Signature Cigars in Rockville, Maryland. Will this stogie live up to the expectations set up by him? Watch the video to find out.
We’re pairing this with a drink we’ve never rated before here at Stogie’d, but it’s one we’ve had often when the camera isn’t rolling: The Dimple Pinch 15-year old blended scotch whiskey.
A very nice pairing, and a nice surprise with the cigar!
It’s over! Check back soon to see who won!
What do you think? Does the Chateau Fuente KingB live up to the Fuente family name? Is it a good substitute for the pricey and at-times hard-to-find OpusX? Have you had construction problems with it? Let us know in the Comments section (where you can double your entries into the weekly contest by leaving a comment).
